Gee, they will finally have a conveyor belt at Rzeszow airport

The improvements should come before a non-stop Rzeszow-New York connection will appear in the summer schedule. The transatlantic connection returns to LOT Polish Airlines schedule in May. So far airport workers were bringing luggage from the plane and leaving bags in the arrival hall for passengers to pick their stuff.

But that's not all... Apart from that there will bee a roof covering a passage connecting an arrival hall with an exit from the airport. And guess what... There will be a waiting room for people that until that point have to wait for passengers in front of the airport.

Unbelievable, how this airport based in Jasionka, Poland can handle large passanger jets...

hat piddly airport could be much more than KRK or KTW..iiif people in Podkarpackie had brain instead of shit in their heads. There is an abundance of open space in the area allowing for a build up of a FULL size terminal with jetways, catering and cargo facilities. The area has plenty of factories that would be much happier to use Rzeszow as their pick up airport instead of dragging their asses to KRK to pick up freight or freight being hauled to neighbouring cities (Mielec, Rzeszow, Przemysl etc). But apparently it's more important to have a HUGE administration building far exceeding the size of the passenger terminal itself. As Rzeszow is my starting / ending point of trips to Poland, it will be interesting to see how it will evolve. A luggage conveyor will be a nice addition since the current solution makes me feel like I'm in a meat factory instead of an airport arrival hall. I can't even count the number of times that some old lady or another idiot scraped my ankle with luggage cart because they wanted to be RIGHT in front of the roller conveyor..along with 100 other obnoxious people.
