LOT Polish Airlines opened a Warsaw-Beijing route on Sunday, but the next scheduled flight on Wednesday was cancelled, due to "operational reasons". Passengers were rebooked to another airlines. Next LOT flight to Beijing was scheduled on Friday.
Polish national carrier is stuck in negotiotions about taxes fr flying over Russian territory and opted for southern route. Eventaully LOT is said to be flying through northern corridor - above Siberia. The southern route goes through Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
