Overseas Flight Stinks Due to Sewage Overflow

A Continental Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Newark last week, experienced a sewage overflow in the plane's toilet, causing a rather uncomfortable seven hour journey.
Seattle's KING 5 News says the plane had experienced earlier problems after take-off when passengers were told the toilets were out of service. The plane stopped overnight in Shannon, Ireland to get the problem fixed. But after the flight resumed, the sewage problem began and it was too late to turn around.
During the trip, flight attendants offered food and beverages, but warned passengers to watch the amount they consumed.
