Revolution at Polish airports

The government is preparing a bill on restructuring of the Polish Airports State Enterprise (PPL), the state institution that has been serving as an operator of Polish airports since 1987. PPL will be reshaped into a company, and after selling its stake in regional airports, will be shut down.

Currently PPL holds 100 % stake only in two Polish airports - Warsaw, Rzeszów and Zielona Góra-Babimost. In the remaining regional airports, which became private companies, PPL kept some of its stake.
