The head of Polish church primate Jozef Cardinal Glemp encountered a manual search at Szczecin airport on his way back to Warsaw last Saturday. The airport security took him to a confined search room for several seconds. The CCTV cameras have shown he came out of the room afterwards.
The airport authorities apologized to the primate. They wrote that its personnel executed their duties too overzealously and without any common sense.

The security guy that handled the cardinal was fired. As well as his supervisor.
